I respectfully request the recall of Muhammad Yaseen, MLA for Calgary-North, for failing to represent his constituency. His support of the Notwithstanding Clause to end legal job action undermined democracy and constitutional rights. He failed to oppose proposed electoral boundary changes that risked weakening Lethbridge’s urban voice. He ignored constituent concerns about reopening coal mining in the Rockies, costing taxpayers millions in lawsuits and threatening local waterways. He has demonstrated poor accountability to constituents, often providing form answers with limited understanding of legislative options. Lethbridge-East deserves a representative who listens, takes responsibility, and defends our community and our rights.
